Goals |
| This class will help you learn
the skills and tools to create, manage and promote your blogs/podcasts/online
identity. Through the exercises you will learn the "hows" and
"whys" of blogging. Your work and the blog must have specific
items as outlined below.
Your site will focus on unique personal
expression. Experimentation is highly regarded. |

Blog |
Create a
minimum of 2 "ART"
blogs. One blog will contain the assignments below, the other
is yours to either repeat the assignment (in a different form)
or go in your own direction. At least two of your blogs will
be more than text. THESE MUST BE BLOGS, it must have an
RSS feed associated with it. This cannot be a website.
Email the blog links to TA for posting on bigartsite.
At the end of the quarter you should have AT LEAST 40 posts
total in all of your blogs combined.

artistic statement of intent for your blog and post
to your blog and email your instructor.

2: 9 or more Comments |
| Add a minimum of
9 comments to other student's sites. Your comments should be
constructive, and consist of useful input or encouragement.

Create
a "moblog"
link and submit at least one entry from a mobil phone/phone |

9: Customize |
| Custom code your
sidebar and your template and create links to purposeful sites
relating to your topic. If you are connecting to another blog,
introduce yourself and ask to link (and suggest they link to you)

11: Art Statement |

Write
your artist's statement (this is different than the blog statement,
this is what you want to do as an artist) and email
